Natural Deodorant To Make At Home!

Just some fun info for those of us who like to try new things...as well as natural ones!  This is a well-known recipe for deodorant...so it will keep odor and bacteria away, but does not claim to keep you dry.  Have some fun with this and feel free to let me know how it works out!

All you need:

5 T         Cold Pressed Coconut Oil
1/4 cup  Baking Soda
1/4 cup  Corn Starch

Ok, so 3 easy ingredients and now you just have to measure, mix and your done! I do this in a  bowl first and then transfer entire mixture in a small glass jar with lid.  Depending on how hot/cold your home is...(colder here now) your oil may be a solid.  What I will do is heat some hot water in a pan, when hot (not boiling) I turn it off and place the jar of coconut oil in, to warm it and make it softer.  It will turn into a liquid if warm enough but as soon as it cools, goes to a solid again!  So use whatever consistency works for you to mix well.

I mix both dry ingredients well first and then add the oil.  Again, mix well and then I transfer into my jar with lid.  I keep in fridge, and will use a spoon to scrape some off some of the mixture and apply with my hands...rub in well and let dry/absorb before getting dressed.

I have added 1 drop of an essential oil to this mixture as well...but actually like it just the way it is.  You can experiment!  Enjoy!
