Tired Of Being Tired?

Something you may have not considered.  And since it affects almost all of us at one time or another, read on.

Your body does its best to make up for sluggish adrenal glands, but it does so at a price. The main purpose of the adrenal glands is to assist your body to deal with stress from every possible source, ranging from injury and disease to work, school and relationship problems. The adrenals will decide the energy of your body's response to every event  in your daily life.  Every cell responds and you feel the results.  Daily!

When  adrenal function is low, your body cannot respond and adapt effectively to these stresses, which leads to a variety of physical and emotional health problems. And unfortunately our current system of  medical care is designed more to treat and manage symptoms, instead of rebuilding the underlying problems. Adrenal fatigue is often at the beginning of a domino effect of health concerns and can lead to hypothyroidism, weight gain, constipation and digestive problems, and chronic candida yeast infections.

And you know I am a big proponent of thinking positively...did you know that even when you are imagining or worrying about unwanted events, your body is responding to those situations as 'real' - as if they were actual events happening?  So I repeat AGAIN,  keeping a more deliberate 'watch' on your thoughts will help your body physically!

So what can we do to boost our glandular system or in this case our Adrenals?
  • Cut back on processed foods including processed sweets
  • Choose fresh fruits and vegetables
  • Sea Salt (RTH offers Pure Celtic Sea Salt, the only salt I use)
  • Enjoy pure Raw Honey, even a teaspoon per day
  • Try switching or organic eggs and dairy products when you can
As far as supplementation the B vitamins score very high here! Such a boost.   My Earth's Nutrition or 'green drink' is wonderful.  Also the Advanced B Formula in powder form I also use will make lasting effects.  I also have a strong Ginseng Plus formula that works well on it's own or along with the B vitamins. Actually I recommend the B's regardless.

Of course if you have other symptoms there are supplements to address these as well, however first things first is to build and strengthen by making some small changes in diet and lifestyle.  And of course if you need more assistance with your own situation, do not hesitate to contact me.

Mini Vacation

I've used this off and on for the last week or so...just so soothing and a nice dose of nature thrown in, that many of us miss right about now.  Hope you have speakers as that is as important as the view!!  I'll even just close my eyes and breath while listening...We've all been on a beach at some
point in our lives so try and go back to a time you remember! Enjoy
